SnyderAward
January 9, 2015 EXPERIMENTAL MEDICINE NEWSLETTER

We would like to congratulate Kimberly Snyder, who recently completed her M.Sc. thesis under the supervision of Dr. Kelly McNagny. Kim’s thesis was praised by her examination committee for its potential impact on the field and it was chosen as ExpMed’s nominee for an award from the Western Association of Graduate Schools. WAGS is an association of schools in western Canada and the US. Kim has been chosen as the winner of the Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award (STEM) and she has been invited to present at the spring meeting of WAGS to be held in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a prestigious international award, only achieved once before over the past twenty years by a student from UBC.
